Annual Meeting – Monday, March 27 at 5 p.m. Your Voice Matters!

When: Monday, March 27, 2023 at 5 p.m.

Where: Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum (1816 10th St. in Two Rivers)

This year, Shoreline Hometown Credit Union has 3 board members running for re-election.

Below is a list of the candidates and a short bio of each candidate.

We will have some great door prizes, as well as food and a cash bar.

After the meeting, finish out the night with a free tour of the museum.

Chad Schwoerer

As the co-owner of JKC Insurance and Investment Services LLC, Chad Schwoerer is both diligent in his practice and committed to providing ethical services to his clients. He has been providing insurance services to individuals and businesses for twenty years in the Manitowoc County area.

With the recent changes in healthcare, many people look to Chad for guidance and assistance. He also provides financial services as a Financial Advisor for people looking to retire or save for the future.

Chad was born and raised in Manitowoc, where he attended Roncalli High School. In 2003, he married his wife, Kylee Schwoerer. Both Chad and Kylee are avid animal lovers and love spending time with their dog and three cats.

Colleen Inman

Colleen Inman is a native of Two Rivers and a graduate of Roncalli High School. Colleen served and continues to serve on several committees and boards of directors for community organizations, including: the Two Rivers Business Association, The Chamber of Manitowoc County, Two Rivers Main Street Program, and the Rotary Club of Two Rivers, where she is the current Assistant District Governor. In 2018, Colleen won the Athena Award. The purpose of the Athena Award is to recognize an individual for professional achievement and community service, and for actively and generously assisting women in their attainment of professional and leadership skills. Colleen has served on the Shoreline Credit Union Board for 9 years.

Colleen and her husband Rick reside in Two Rivers.

 

Brian Powell

Brian Powell is a longtime resident of Two Rivers and has proudly devoted many years of service to his community and his country.  Those services have included the U.S. Navy, the Two Rivers City Council, and the Shoreline Credit Union Board of Directors, as well as several other public committees.

Brian is the Technology Director at The Cawley Company in Manitowoc and has over 40 years of experience and knowledge in various aspects of the computer industry.  In 1995, he completed a Bachelor of Science degree with UMUC.

Brian and his wife, Darla, have two children and four grandchildren.

The Credit Union will make the nomination list available at all branches, at shorelinecu.org, and upon request. Along with the nomination list, the following notice shall be posted in the Credit Union office(s):

NOTICE TO MEMBERS

You are hereby advised of your right under Article V, Section 4 of the Credit Union’s bylaws to submit to the Chairperson on or before February 18, 2023, a petition requesting your nomination as a nominee to the Credit Union’s Board of Directors. Your petition must be signed by at least ten (10) members eligible to vote at meetings of the members of the Credit Union.
